Burlington Stores, Inc. is a fashion retail company from the USA. In over 500 stores and an internet shop, branded products in the sectors of women’s, men’s and children’s clothing, shoes, handbags and other accessories are offered. Burlington Stores was founded in 1972 and has its headquarters in Burlington, New Jersey. In the following analysis, we will expand on the company’s stock from a technical point of view.
The long-term upward trend in the daily chart was broken; at the same time, a young but clear downward trend has formed since the high in May 2017. The volume in the last correction was falling, which is a positive indication for the envisaged short idea.
In the subordinate trend size on the hourly basis, the first signal could already present itself in the form of a 123, if the last hourly low at approx. 87 USD is undercut. To find a lucrative short entry in relation to the 1st target, however, one should first wait for the SMA 200 to be undercut, and for a renewed runback (blue dotted arrows). Here, the entry from out of the correction would then lend itself, with a stop loss on the point 3 that will have formed by then.
The areas around 81 USD and 70 USD (green zones) serve as target marks. If the value clearly and sustainably rises above the area around 94.50 USD (red line), one should desist from the short scenario.
Before trading, one should take news from the environment and from the company into account. Similarly, one should also observe the overall market.
